As many of us know, sticking to the timeline is one of the most important aspects in the wedding planning process, especially when it comes to the day-of-schedule. For example, if the makeup artist finishes 30 minutes late, you’ll be late to the first look, or photos, and possibly even the ceremony.

it is key as a wedding makeup artist to ensure I stay right on schedule so that the rest of the day can go smoothly for everyone, especially the peeps getting married!

Here’s how I ensure a timely finish for my clients:

  1. I always allow at least an extra 30 minutes built in to the beauty itinerary for wiggle room with timing.

  2. I create a beauty itinerary ahead of time with client name and role so that I am able to keep things rolling from one client to the next.

  3. I allow a generous 45-60 minutes per client to accomodate all types of looks, ranging from natural glam to full bridal glam.

  4. IF needed I bring my second artist to ensure we can handle the quantity of clients without sacrificing quality of our work.
