Current Bridal Beauty Trends

While there are many current trends in the makeup industry, in the 2023 wedding season, our beauty team is finding an increasing trend with clean and soft glam makeup looks.

When I say, “clean makeup look,” I’m talking that subtle, no-makeup, makeup look. This trend seemed to increase in popularity following the wedding of Haley Beiber and Sohpia Richie.

Both brides wore a sleek and chic bun, with subtle touches of makeup. Subtle blush from the cheekbones, swept up to the temples. A soft contour of the face and eyes, topped off with a slightly pink, matte nude lip.

Another trend I’ve been asked to design is the soft bridal glam look. Using warms shadows to deepen the corner of the eyes and blending it out to create that soft to transition. A shimmer shadow is used to create the glam aspect, while the contour remains soft, but sculpted. The finishing touches are usually a matte lip, this particular bride chose a nude lip.

I love both of these trends, and love designing a customized look for each and every one of my clients. While some may want the same look, the designing aspect is different each time. I truly LOVE the work that goes into my craft.
